Article Marketing – Will it Last Through This Year?

Article marketing of course involves writing informative articles about topics the buyers of your web product might be interested in, and submitting those articles to the various online article directories for publication.

I hear constantly that article marketing is going to lose its vitality as the year progresses, and I just have to laugh.

You see, article marketing has been around for several years, first appearing when PPC became rampant, and web masters needed high levels of fresh content for their web sites. Of course, any time there is a good thing online, it seems that someone comes along to make it bad. And make it bad they did.

People began to find ways to spin one article into hundreds, saving much time in the writing of the articles. Then the search engines cracked down, and made it pretty impossible to get 'junk' rated for anything online.

Next, they have taken the time to create software that theoretically creates new article editions that are not 'nonsense' but actually have some sense to them. Of course, I find it easier to just write fresh articles than to try to rewrite my articles multiple times.

What is going to happen next? I think that what is going to happen next is that a higher and higher percentage of articles that are rewrites are going to get banned on the search engines, and people are going to cry that article marketing is gone.

But the opposite is actually true. For the person who writes legitimate content, and does not play any kind of rewriting games, I think that there is going to be a much higher demand. When articles written by rewriters and scammers are delisted, then the articles written by the honest article writers will shoot to the top of the search engines.
