An Independent Review of World Ventures

Over the past decade or so there have been many “work from home” travel businesses. Some were very successful, others were not so fortunate. Many of us remember YTB, one of the more successful companies who came under scrutiny after a number of lawsuits were filed in different states alleging fraudulent practices. They have weathered the storm; however the controversy made it easier for some of their competitors to gain a foothold in the industry.
One such competitor, World Ventures, Inc. based in Plano, TX has enjoyed such success. Founded in December 2005 by two of the foremost authorities in the Network Marketing and direct sales industry, Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue, World Ventures has proven to be an industry standout. That being said, I am in no way affiliated with World Ventures and have absolutely no financial interest in the company. I am merely informing readers of my opinion.
Co-founder Wayne Nugent is regarded by many as Network Marketing’s single most successful independent representative of travel and travel related services.
For more than ten years, Wayne has earned his living exclusively from network marketing. He has earned the top level field position and the distinction of top money earner in four separate companies. In performing at that level, he has developed organizations of more than 100,000 representatives spanning 16 different countries.
After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance from the University of North Texas in 1995, Owner and Co-founder Mike Azcue immediately pursued a full time career in Direct Marketing. Mike became one of ten National Marketing Directors in an MLM called “Family of Eagles,” and achieved the position of Number 2 income earner in his second year. Mike also developed and trained a team in excess of 100,000 people in over 14 countries and was responsible for $50 million in sales.
Needless to say, mike has earned his credentials as a leader in the industry.
The company’s CEO, Dan Stammen started his business career over 22 years ago in the direct sales industry. During that period of time, Mr. Stammen built sales teams with various companies totaling over 1.2 million representatives, which in turn generated over 900 million dollars of sales revenue. Mr. Stammen’s most recent business endeavor was to where he built a sales team which created over 660,000 customers for a New York Stock Exchange listed legal services firm.
The company offers three packages to its members affording them the opportunity for affordable travel, luxurious travel and the opportunity to be an independent travel agent and participate in a lucrative compensation plan.
This “work from home” business ranks higher than 562 of 665 Companies in the MLM Rankings.com Metrics database, an 84 percentile ranking. So if someone enjoys travel, has a few hundred dollars to invest in a small business and has the entrepreneurial itch, World Ventures may be a good fit. The only downside I can really see in my evaluation of this business is that in this down-turned economy fewer and fewer people have the expendable income to spend on non-essential goods and services which may cause the travel business to flatten out a bit for a while. Other than that, I must say the company is run by outstanding leaders, is well funded, and as of 2009 it has expanded into several global markets. You could do a lot worse today in the MLM Industry than partnering with World Ventures, Inc.
